Thea grew up on the dairy farm her father owned and operated in Upstate NY. She has spent her adult life being a displaced farm girl in cities, traveling, writing, and drinking a lot of bourbon.
Thea is a hospitality veteran, having worked in restaurants for more than a decade. She has hosted, served, tended bar, and worked as a bar manager, assistant general manager, and general manager. She combined her love of writing with her love of all things bar related in her first book with coauthor, coworker, and friend, Lauren Vigdor in 2017 with “Drink Like a Bartender”, published by Adams Media and Simon and Schuster. It was rated one of the “Best Booze Books of 2017” by “Forbes Magazine”.
Since the pandemic, Thea has worked as a cocktail developer for “The Unofficial Disney Parks Drink Recipe Book” (which made The NY Times Best Seller list) and “The Unofficial Disney Parks EPCOT Cookbook”. Her most recent book is “Nectar of the Gods”, which she coauthored with podcaster and Greek and Roman mythology expert Liv Albert, and is now available for sale wherever books are sold.
